Bangers and Mash and Conchords

In the middle of planning a trip to Boston and right before I was to leave for New York, those sneaky Flight of the Conchords announced a European tour. After some feverish emailing between a friend who lives in the UK and I, I was planning a trip to London, as well.

We got on Skype and bought tickets together from different time zones the moment the fan presale began (it was 4:00 am for me), and did end up snagging tickets for the May 16, 17, and 18 shows. We even got some other friends to join us.

I honestly did not expect to ever see the guys perform live again. It sort of seemed to me that they were ready to move on from their Conchordian lives, so it was a huge treat to get to see them for what really could be the last time…until the next time.
